We now have wristbands for sale. Pink, Blue & Orange (kids) £1 available from Macie's Family locally & can be posted if required.


2016

We have our first coffee morning of the year on May 14th at Prudhoe Church Hall. Please come along and support us. 0900-1200



2015

25th April 2015 we held a coffee morning and raised £185


Karen Sharkey is doing a 12 mile sponsored walk to raise money for Macie's Story. This will be on July 4th. Starting at Prudhoe Riverside, walking to Newburn and back.


We have another fundraising night to come on July 5th at the Dr Syntax - Prudhoe where Ricky Moore will again join us with his fantastic Hypnotist Show. £2 a ticket - sold locally.


Colin Hardwick will also run the Cumbria half marathon in October to raise money towards Macie's Story


This year we have bought new toys for the GNCH ward 1a and will also be giving christmas presents for the patients who will spend christmas day in hospital.


We thank everyone who has helped support us - without the fundraising we would not be able to help others!


March 2nd 2014

We recently had our 1st fundraising night for Macie at the Dr Syntax in Prudhoe that consisted of a hypnotist, bitter sweet hearts and a drag act, we also did raffles with lots of raffle donations from many local businesses and we are so so so grateful, it could not have been done without the help of everyone. We raised £3677 in total.


July 20th 2014

Some of Hammerite (Prudhoe) Staff took part in the Colour run at Sunderland on the Sunday 20th July to raise money for Maicie's Story - Many Thanks to all who took part and also the people who sponsored them. So far the total is £1370.60.


August 3rd 2014

Cheryl, Macie's mum did a bungee jump at Newcastle's Tyne Bridge to raise awareness for Intestinal Pseudo Obstruction and raising money towards research. Big thanks to extreme sensations who the bungee was through, they were fab on the day putting our banner up and taking photos for their website, also to everyone who sponsored Cheryl. 


September 2014

Alan Hillary arranged a sponsored 7mile walk which many took part in. Many thanks to alan and participants. This money was donated straight to GNCH Ward 1a - seperate to the £1000 already donated.
